Have any of you ladies that tried Evening Primrose ever inserted it vaginally?? (I'm referring to the capsules that is cause that's what I have) I was reading about it online and it said that you can but I was reading my bottles instructions and there was nothing about vaginally inserting them! All it said was take 1 capsule, three times daily. So I'm wondering if it's okay to stick one if those pills up my who-ha, not saying I will just wondering. And if there's any difference or anything by using them that way? I know they make the actual oil you can rub on down there as well, but sticking a pill up your lady part?!? That sounds weird to me. 😕

My midwife just told me to do that today. She said take the pills 3x a day orally and then at night poke holes in 1 or 2 of the tablets and enter vaginally. She said it might make me have contractions. I haven't tried it yet though.

@lkmama, it just sounds idk, just weird to me. But I mean if your own midwife said it the can't be any harm in it. I read that you can hear/feel like a small pop when the pill actually melts inside you.

That or you can squirt the pill in there as well! It would give me mild contractions but never progress into anything.

@queenace, I definitely thought it was weird too, but I am willing to try it since she recommended it. I wouldn't do it at all if she wouldn't have told me it's safe to do.

I just did one at a time! I've talked to other girls who did two vaginally.
