so I reluctantly got my first son circumcised because his dad thought it was best and cried the entire time he was gone because I felt so awful doing that to him.. and I just tried to watch the procedure done and couldn't stop shaking or crying I really can't do that to my son again.. it's so awful and I'm trying not to feel bad about Liam having it done because it's been so long ago but omg I feel so awful 😭😭

I saw it done once in nursing school during my ob rotation and its def not for the faint of heart esp if its your own son! hope you're doing OK! just keep it clean and free from infection and he should heal pretty quick!

my first son healed up perfectly but omg actually watching it done.. kinda cause I kept looking away and crying.. ugh I can't do it to the one in my belly.. my fiancé isn't circumcised and he's never had any issues with it so I think it should be fine! might be a weird conversation between the brothers at some point but I'll cross that bridge when I get there lol @jwest267 thank you for your kind words! it's definitely not for the faint of heart!

yes I still remember watching it done and my heart ached watching it! getting closer to my due date with my own son I keep thinking about it too! were choosing circumcision but I keep telling myself it'll be OK! @mamacodi_09n16

I wanted to be there when they did it for my son and I was having second thoughts so I wanted to talk to the doctors first, but I went to take a shower and my husband came to help me because I had a c section, they had already done it when I got out. I was soooo mad and upset we weren't there for him. when they brought him in he was calm and content.

@jwest267 I'm sure your little man will be fine♡ My son healed perfectly, I just can't do it knowing what I know now 😭 ughh I'm too empathetic and know I would be able to feel everything he was feeling

@chelsea21 they've gotta just be happy to finally be done because of how traumatic it is.. I'm not against it either way, every mama decides what's best.. I'm just saying what I think realistically lol.. or maybe some good pain meds.. I can understand your frustration but it's probably best you didn't see it done after watching it

I have a two year old son. He isnt circumcised because I couldnt afford and my insurance didnt cover it. Im now having a second little boy because Ive looked into and I just cant stand the thought of someone holding or strapping my child down and snipping his manhood. 😞
