How long should i take folic acid for my midwife said that i should carry on taking them the whole…

hey hun, I'm 25 weeks 5 days. I don't take them, I stopped taking them when they ran out I'm not 100%sure when it was I think it could of been about 18 weeks or maybe earlier, you don't have to take them it's your choice xxx @laylalou

@chloedwards97, everything ive heard before or googled says otherwise but shes the expert so i dont understand lol thanks i may just stop taking them too xo

Yeah, my midwife said that you don't have to take them it's you're choice.. like I said I stopped taking them, and everything with my little boy is okay 😊 xx @laylalou

im 37+1 and still taking my pregnancy vitamins which contain folic acid. my consultant told me to take them the entire pregnancy x

I took it throughout pregnancy and still take the tablets now and my girl is 3 months :) because the tablets I have support breast feeding too :) xx I wasn't told to stop taking them throughout pregnancy at all :)

i tool folic acid for the first 3 ish months but have taken pregnancy vits since day 1 and will continue to untill i stop breast feeding. The multi vits contain everything you need for baby so as long as you are taking them you are covered :) x

I've taken folic acid and vitamin D throughout, and will continue to do so until baby is born. Midwife was happy that I'm doing so as well. x
