I stay up all night even if my sons asleep just to make sure he's breathing. I'm like super paranoid ever since he threw up laying on his back, and choked. Also, since he has acid reflux sometimes he arches his back at night, and taste the acid and makes a disgusted face and I'm completely terrified of not being awake when either happens.

I was the same way.. Seriously! I said fuck it and put my daughter on her stomach.. I couldn't grasp the concept of how they won't choke on their back if they throw up.. Its bs.. She's been on her stomach since she was born.. I always keep and eye on her but feel so much more at ease that way

@alanasmommy81815, it's kind of difficult for me because my son has to sleep on a incline because of his acid reflux. I honestly believe choking on their spit/ throw up is the reason for "sids"

My daughter always slept on her tummy... I would find a flatten pillow and put the top part of her body up on the pillow so her upper body was higher than the lower... She was always at an incline and slept for hours

@alanasmommy81815, to be honest putting him on his stomach gets me paranoid more specially because he squirms a lot. I need to purchase that monitor that you out on their foot like at the hospital that alerts you if babies breathing or heart rate is fluctuating. It's the only way I'll get peace of mind.
