So, I have these wicked itchy bumps under my left eye but close enough to my eye to be concerning. They have been itching really bad over the past two days. I'm a total hypochondriac, so someone, please talk some sense into me. My daughter gets cold sores (my lovely MIL shared a drink with her many years ago, even though I always told her NOT to, and she has an issue with cold sores, so, yeah) and when I was washing Ambers cup last week, water splashed up at my eye. Now I'm terrified these itchy bumps are cold sores forming. You CAN get a herpes infection of the skin and near the eyes - and if you get it in your eyes you can lose your vision....so I'm freaking out. There are like 6 tiny bumps near each other. 😧

Maybe they're stys (spell check) I get them often from wearing makeup on my eye like eyeliner. My eyes itch when I get them.

Theyre on the skin like under my eye, where you would get dark circles or eye bags at, rather than on the bottom lid. Can you get stys on that area? I thought they were just associated with the top and bottom inner lid area?

I have had a few of them on my cheek bone area before, again from wearing make up and being terrible and not washing my face lol

I'm hoping it's just contact dermatitis (allergic reaction) from using cheap crappy e.l.f concealer

Girl, chill. It's not herpes. It's probably just allergies. They have been getting worse every year. If it was herpes you'd know.
