you can actually leave freshly pumped milk out for much longer than 5 hours.

No problem:) @oklahoma.girl55 and @elizabeth1617 what's the longest you would recommend, if you don't mind me asking. I'm a FTM also.

I've left mine out for almost 15 hours before and it was fine. Honestly, just smell it. If it smells good, feed it. Your baby will not drink spoiled milk. If it doesn't smell right to you save it for a milk bath. Breastmilk is extremely resilient.

Another good tip I learned. Put your pumping flanges in the fridge when you are done so you don't have to wash them a million times a day. Just was once at the end of the day.
