I'm just curious. I worked in the medical field but never the "baby" side of the medical field. Now, I do not smoke (I used to a long time ago but obviously quit before even becoming pregnant) and it's none of my business if anyone on this App does. But I'm curious, if you go from not smoking while pregnant all the way to the end of your pregnancy and pick it back up, scientifically does anyone know how that affects your body and baby? I have someone on my Facebook that smoked through both pregnancies and they came out fine. And I know someone who quit while pregnant and started back up towards the end of their pregnancy and I feel like that could be worse than just doing it the whole time because you're reintroducing something bad. Am I wrong?

I think your right. My sister quite during her five pregnancies but when she had her kids she'd smoke again. Now granted that two of her kids have breathing problems she smokes but before she goes around her two kids with breathing problems she'll shower or spray herself. Just due to the fact that those two kids if their around it will go in full force asthma attacks. Which isn't fun to deal with since I've had to be trained on what to do and it's scary.

Oof. That's terrible. And that is only second hand smoke. I can't imagine how it affects a baby in the womb. But I guess if it's used to it, it kinda adapts in some horrible way.

I thinking stopping them starting back up at the end would be worse. But idk.
