So my OB I used w my first son, turned us to collections after a year. During that year they sent 3 statements and 1 letter... I called asking for statements cause i wasn't gonna pay something i had no proof of. It took 6 months before I got anything. Wel now we are at a law firm collection agency been paying what we can monthly every month. And they added over $500 to my bill for turning it to this law firm. Well they tell me today we have to pay at least $188 monthly for this bill. First off a long w all other bills, and one income, who can afford that? Second off who saves up to have a baby? Especially when it wasn't a planned pregnancy? I know ppl that took YEARS to pay off their medical bills from birth. Well I mention I'm preg again and once again not saving up. Children are blessings it shouldn't cost what it does to give birth anyways. Well that woman says "you knew your expenses before getting pregnant again" I said "that's none of your business actually and that's gods gift to us" and hung up. First off she has no right having an opinion on my business, second if we can afford having children we will have children it shouldn't be decided on a bill, we were paying it doing fine had no idea the dr would try to take us to court over it. I'm just so in shock that one they are so rude about it and two how greedy the dr is being like we are paying you what more can we do?!

My old one is so money hungry, he was so rude to my husband about it all and I mean we are doing what we can and we know he's making plenty of money lol. I tried to pay as I went and give co pays etc and they wouldn't take anything they'd say "wait till the end" @snakemom

dont rush to pay the bill. they cant take u to jail cuz u can't afford to pay it. i have a few unpaid bills but they gonna stay unpaid for now cuz i have more important things to worry about as im sure u do to. they dnt understand whts its like living on one income or pay check to pay check. but yet ppl can b do judgemental. honestly dnt stress yourself. and if you have to try get pregnacy Medicad to help cover your pregnacy. i got it and it has been such a big help.

My mother in law was sued over medical bills (and the total bill was only like $300 for that matter) but sadly they don't care what kind of situations you're in. You should watch the documentary "The Business of Being Born" our country sucks for healthcare in general!

no problem hun. and if u really wanna pay on it then just try to explain tht u cant afford to pay the amount they want but u can pay something every month until its paid off. sometimes not all the time but sometimes they will work something out with you. even if it's just $25 a month its still something to show you wanna pay but you just cant as fast as they would like. if they just dnt want to compromise at all then like i said dnt even worry about it. cuz they cant force u to pay it. @youngb

I tried. It's the doctor pitching a fit he's just a greedy money hungry man. @mamasylvas2016 he was $188 a month and no less. I've called a lawyer to see what he thinks cause there's so much more behind this that I can use against them so hopefully it'll be taken care of.

you honestly dont have to pay 188 a month as long as you are paying what you can towards the bill people just say that to get there money right away so just tell the rude lady you will pay what you can a month
