@jewellmason1234, no it isn't, it can cause high blood pressure during pregnancy which is called preeclampsia and that can cause for a early birth delivery if the High Blood pressure gets out of control.

@jewellmason1234, Once you hit 11 weeks you could ask to get bloodwork done I got it mine was free and it's just a shot for the gender and it also told me it was negative for down syndrome

@jewellmason1234, well I had to go see a specialist because I have protein in my urine and they asked me if I wanted to do a panorama which it's a screening that lets you know if the baby is coming out with Down syndrome or any abnormalities so I went for it and I also got blood taken for the sex, for the regular clinic I'm getting a ultra sound at 21 weeks so they can tell me the sex but nothing is more accurate than blood! If you want to know early you might need to go somewhere private to find out sooner.
