Hmm...I don't know. You are just about 38 weeks which is now considered early term (not premature, though). I'd you are having regular contractions, they can break your waters. Most doctors won't induce you before 39 weeks unless it is absolutely medically necessary. Are you dialated at all?

Have you been timing them? With my first 2 pregnancies the doctors had to break my waters. Most of the time that gets things going pretty fast. I'd go in if they are 3-5 minutes apart lasting one minute or so.
