Keep getting really bad chest pains. Anyone else had these and know what could be causing it??

They're sharp and aching pains sometimes my breathing goes funny too and it's above my right boob mainly xxx

Don't want to scare you but could be a blood clot pregnant women are more prone to them or could be the start of a chest infection best to get it checked out cx

I have the same thing! The doctor sent me to A&E for blood tests to check for a blood clot. The d-dimer test came back high but it normally does anyway when you're pregnant. So they discharged me but I still didn't feel right so I went back to the doctor and he told me that I'm anaemic. But he wasn't happy with how the hospital handled things so he sent me back for lung scans just to be sure. Everything was fine and I was told it's just the baby squishing everything up and causing chest pain and shortness of breath. It's still good to get checked out though for the peace of mind x
