💙💙💙Thought I'd share my scare! 💙💙💙
If you think you may be in preterm labor I suggest you go into L&D or AT LEAST call and let them know what's going on so they can tell you your next best steps.
A couple of weeks ago (I was at 29 weeks) I woke up bright and early with my son at around 6ish to start the day (I usually wake up much later). I wasn't doing anything major just some light cleaning around the house while took breaks to play with my 8 month old son. At around 7:30 I started feeling a bit nauseous. I tried to take a little nap with my baby about half an hour later.
The ENTIRE time I tried to sleep I started getting these consistent stomach pains (center of my belly right where the top of my bump is). I actually thought this was how it felt to have a 'foot in the ribs' since I've never felt that before. I tossed and turned as the pain started feeling worse, but now I could feel it in my back!
So I woke up and instantly ran to the bathroom. Ugh I started vomiting. Badly. Just add shortness of breath and I was a wreck.
So what do I do? I picked up my phone to see what ol' Dr.Google had to say about my symptoms. I literally got so many mixed answers I just called my sister and asked her what natural contractions felt like since my last pregnancy I was induced. She said lower back pain so I didn't think anything of it, but the pain was getting worse.
I called my MIL and she rushed me to the hospital. Long story short, turns out I was having labor contractions every 4 minutes and had to get shots to stop it. The nurse said had I not come in with a little more time I would've went into active labor.
My symptoms were:
*Contractions
*Nausea/Vomiting
*Shortness of breath
*Sweating
I just wanted to post this so you guys don't doubt yourselves. If you think something is wrong please call your doctor! Thank you for reading💙💛💚💜
