I don't do it either. But if you ever think he's not moving a whole lot, or something seems off. Count the kicks before anything else.

I don't. you'll learn the norm for your baby like the times of day . I know my little one is very active at night so I lay & have kick time at that time

I don't count kicks unless I feel like I haven't felt her kick for awhile... Then I'll lay down and use my kick counter app... The app runs a 2 hour cycle and you click a button every time you feel a kick but I usually don't even last the two hours.. If I feel her kick multiple times, I'm content.

I dont. doctors ask me if I'm feeling him okay and I say yes. I feel like if something is wrong I'll know. and if ever he isn't moving enough I usually just have to drink water
