I plan on walking about a mile a day when I get to 35 week on just to get my body ready. I've been walking about a half a mile a day since pregnancy started and it has help keep my weight down. I think that walking can help with a lot and I've heard it helps with labor. My friend was at 2 cm at 38 weeks and walked for about 30 minutes and then sat on a ball for another 30 and her water broke right after that. Everyone is different so i think you just have to try and see if it works for you @nicemmcha2015
@abbydi, 30 mins a day is what I've been doing lately. they say it makes labor easier and my 1st was pretty tramatic so I'll do whatever possible to help this go around

Walking doesn't help unless you're in active labor

Oh well. I wouldn't know if I was because I don't feel contractions. was in labor 9 hours with my 1st and never felt them.

Walking does help you don't have to be in active labor. I'm not sure if it matters how much you walk I don't think there's any specific range
