I was looking into nexplanon and i got pregnant from my boyfriends precum twice now. im not relying on breastfeeding as a bc method. Im taking every precaution i possibly can. @jleightutt @mommasaurus

I'm getting murana or howverr you spell it lol. But I've been on every birth control ever lol even an IUD. As long as they place it right you'll do fine! Is nexplanon the one in your arm?

@mommasaurus, if you read the article it does explain that if it is used correctly then it is effective. I.e. Feeding every four hours, not supplementing with other foods/formula, and as long as you're not getting your period... And obviously it's only effective for the first 6 months. I'm aware it doesn't work for everyone, but if all of those things are applicable then yes, your body is not producing the hormone needed for ovulation. As someone who doesn't enjoy using medication if it's not needed, this is a good route for me as long as everything pans out.

i dont feel comfortable with something going up in my hoohaa. too many instances of it getting lost and having to get surgically removed. im really paranoid because i had bad experiences with the nuvaring and the depo. @sarahemccormick

Hmm..I understand where youre coming from..I had Mirena 2x before, once for the full 5 yrs and again for 2 yes and never had an issue. Then I got it placed after my newest baby boy was born 3 months ago. So far, so good! I hope you find something that works for you.
