Hello lovely ladies!
I'm Beth, 27 weeks and 5 days FTM, our little Prince is due on the 11th of August.
I keep seeing about people having a Whooping Cough injection but my Midwife hasn't even mentioned it to me, how do you go about getting it? Should I mention it to my Midwife or is it something that you have to speak to your GP about, my sister had it as a teen and was hospitalised so I'm guessing it's even worse for a NB, any advice or information would be fab xx

hi I'm 25+4 I was told I needed 2 have it at 25 wks but not heard anything,never had it with my others...x

Hey I'm new here just ask you midwife or gp they mentioned it to me the other day at the hospital I'm having it at 28 weeks I had to remind them with my son . Xx

@sabzy, most surgeries youre meant to book it in yourself . but its at 28 weeks or after

I was told 28 week you have it done, mention it to your midwife and she should sort it for you xx

Make sure you ring your gp and book an appointment! If you YouTube whooping cough you'll see why you'll need to avoid it x

yeah my son passed away from whooping cough. so definately have the jab girlies!!
