Newbie here 😊 Has anyone had a water birth and would they recommend one? Heard so many good things…

I didn't have one but water birth is a pain relief it self & I read somewhere that your not aloud to have epidural, just gas & air. Not sure if you can have pethedine though. hope someone that has had a water birth answers you 😆 xx

I went in for 4 hours they expected me to have the baby in there but my cervix swelled and stopped dilating so I had to get out but that wasn't down to the pool the best and most relaxing part of my labour was being in the pool and brilliant pain relief xx

My youngest son was born in the water & im hoping i can deliver in the pool this time too its so calming would definately recommend x
