Girl, my ex used to pull that shit!!! He told his friends that my bike (motorcycle) AND my car were his!!!!! When I found out, I busted his ass out so fast.....what an idiot!!!! I made sure to remind his punk ass friends how much of a loser he was, and how much I was in charge. Shit....!!! Some men are way too much about impressing everybody else. Glad I ditched his ass!

Ugh I'd be so annoyed! I know what you're dealing with. My child's father does stuff like that, not to the extent of a car but a few times I've paid for concert tickets to places or I even helped him get a phone (IPhone at that, and helped pay for the phone itself and the plan and have flat out paid the bill sometimes) or I'll do something for him like his taxes or fix his stuff for him from his computer in his house, to setting up his websites and even designing stuff he wears for him (I'm the tech savvy nerd and the "artsy" person in the relationship lol) and he knows we wouldn't have and couldn't have done those things without me and he'll start talking about it with people like he did everything himself and tell people like he did it himself or if he's mad talk about how he does everything and pays for everything himself, and I'm just like "Hello? So who should I call about my credit card bills and bank statements showing these fees from stuff you have?" Or "let's look at those documents and who signed them to see who really did what!" Don't get me wrong, I don't mind doing stuff for someone at all, but it's just the principle of giving credit where it's due even though you're not doing it to receive the credit.
