I asked my mum to buy me maternity pads but she picked up just normal large pads like the ones old ladies wear when they pee themselves... can I use them? Or should I get some proper maternity pads?

I don't see why not, as long as they are absorbant. The maternity ones I've got don't seem that padded, I'd thought they'd be like the granny ones 😂😂 xx

Get proper ones as the other pads will have the chemical strip to absorb the wee and that's not good to have down there if you've been cut my other half picked me some up when in hospital and they wouldn't let me use them

yes you can you send them they do exactly the same it's just you pay more for maternity pads I usually buy the tesco super plus much cheaper xx
