Not pregnancy related but I want to get extensions put in. Advice?
I did clip ins and hated them. I have a one year old so I want something that is just already in my hair when I get up.
Hair extensions? I have some advice. I was a beauty blogger for 3 years so I got to learn a lot about these things. I suggest before you take the full plunge, buy some clip in one piece extensions and start with those. Get human hair ones so you can heat style them and won't melt them if you want to use heat. By using clip in extensions, you're saving hundreds, possibly even thousands of dollars and can play with different looks until you decide what you want more permanently.
I spent 1,000 dollars on tape-ins and I loved them at first but I've had them for about a month and now I hate them and want them out. They get rough real quick after you start washing them and i spent 100 bucks on top of the line shampoo and conditioner from the salon. I've also had a few fall out already and the worst part is they leave the adhesive in your hair when they do fall out and you end up with a dread lock of hair covered in what feels like gum. I wouldn't recommend them. At least don't spend as much as I did if you do.
