I'm 3.5 cm dilated but I am not in labor!

dr attempted to strip my membranes today but he was so low she had to move his head around kinda and he squirmed and between that and all the pressure I ended up having her stop and I puked in the trash can and grew nauseous so she didn't get to strip my membranes:( lord knows I tried.

but after I was spotting and having cramps.

those cramps grew stronger and the strong ones were like 20 mins apart and then they grew irregular and then they fade in and out now.

idk what to think. I'm 4 days overdue.

could this cramping be a good sign that labor is coming very soon?

so far it seems like I'm ready but my body just will not start contractions.
