I know at my doctor of I wait till after hrs I can call the dr on call and they can still prescribe something

I would bring her! I hate Dr offices! or call them back and say youre guna go over to the er because they havent called. all she needs is a script and it'll be non contagous and better in 24 hours!

@mygiftof2016, exactly what I want. I really don't even wanna take her out for them to just take one look and send her home with a script I know what's wrong they know and I just need them to send it the pharmacy yet they still haven't gotten back to me

as a lab tech and someone who works/studies bacteria, I would strongly suggest taking her to the ER. pinkeye is no joke and can cause blindness very easily in babies/toddlers

@ginnalynn, so take her out the house to a hospital with even more germs. Im just frustrated cause they can't see her till tomorrow or maybe 715 tonight. But they haven't let me known yet. The hospital is very far and I have no way to get there to late this evening anyways if I go there. But her doctors office is right by me and I know they gonna see her for a minute or so and just proscribe something. So it's like either way I'm stuck for the moment well at least till tonight

once eye drops are given its 24hrs then it's not contagious. my step son(taken to Dr in Monday) was sent to my house with it.(on Thursday) his eyes where sealed shut and gross and puffy and red...his.mom was under the influence that his oral meds made it noncontagious and then lied and said his eye drops wherent gonna be ready until Thursday at five (same time we got him). I went early Thursday to get them and they had been ready since wed morning. due to this issue and her failure to parent up (SS said mommy didn't want to give him his drops so she was going to have daddy do then instead) my premature infant got pink eye almost immediately. and had to be our on eye drops instantly. luckily I have a good Dr.office so I told the nurse I thought it was pink eye and because of that she got a dr to call me immediately. and prescribe him drops. I got them both cleared up completely by Saturday. my infant had to go to the dr immediately Monday to make sure his eyes where ok escalade is how much damage it could cause him.

call then repetitively saying you need a prescription for pink eye immediately. that's what I would do I hate slow places. I did that to my friends child's Dr office
