My baby has a bad cough when he coughs I hear his chest being somewhat congested 😰 is there otc medicine ? Or should I take him in?
Took him in Friday and the dr said his throat was a little red and prescribed antibiotics which caused him to poop red! And I thought it was blood 😒 so ER dr told me to stop giving it 😏

They do have OTC medicine. you can call hia pedi and they'll tell you the safest medicine for him. I always just went to CVS or walmart and got somethin for my kids tho. Zarbees has a cough + mucus. It worked pretty good with my kids and i used a humidifier and put baby Vicks on their chest.
