How dilated/effaced should you be at 36 + 4?

I was 1 cm last week at 35 @daij

I'm 37 and haven't dilated 😂 but a lot of people will dilate a few cm and stay that way for a few weeks. That's what happened to my friend. Around 35-36 she was 2 cm and stayed that way up until 39-40.

Well there's no "right" amount at a certain stage or week to dilate... I'm 37 and my cervix is just soft... What @twinmama_navywife said... Everyone is different

It's frustrating once you're towards the end but your body will dilate when it's ready. I'm having twins and my body has just decided even though I'm full term for twins they aren't ready yet. Your time will come.

Your body doesn't need to dilate or even thin until labor starts. Those who do before labor starts doesn't make their labor sooner, faster, or easier. That's why i won't get cervical checks this time. It means nothing unless of course you're dilating and contracting and are at risk for really pre term labor
