Especially when black is involved... Black people carry so many different traits and genes. I look like a great aunt on my mom side and not really either one of my parents. The baby can take one side of the family, be a combo of both or pick up random traits from both of u, you will have no clue until the baby comes out.

Yeah genetics are so interesting especially when different ethnicities mix. I love it! I'm biracial black and white, my husband is white and Mexican and I don't know how our daughter will look. I have darker features and my sister who is also biracial has light features, blonde hair & green eyes, her husband is white and Mexican and two of their children have blonde hair and blue eyes and are really fair. The middle child came out tan with brown hair and green eyes. You just never know what your children will look like, it's so exciting. Can't wait to see my daughter.

@green7dusty, exactly! Health is the top priority. The cool things about genetics is the roll of the dice, everything u carry traits for can be thrown out there. It's exciting all the same. My husband is the same and thinks the baby will look just like him Bc everyone in his family looks like his father side, I told him don't count on it, Bc u never know. 😂😂😂

my daughters dad is black and im white. she came out white with blue eyes and straight black hair. she is now 6 with curly blonde hair and green/hazel eyes and girl can tan so good.

Yeah you never know...I'm Haitian and white and my SO is black, he swore our son would be more like his color and he came out really light like me

I myself am half black and half Mexican and my husband is Mexican our daughter was born with the same skin tone as me and big brown eyes but has her dad's features now our son is super light skin almost white with curly hair and green eyes and my husband doesn't have coleryed eyes but my sin looks exactly like hsim the also sometimes people don't even know my son is mine lol you never know what you're going to get now I'm pregnant with our 3rd curios to see how it will look
