yes. dont get it wet for 24 hrs. Top bandage stays on for 24 hrs. Steri strips stay on for at least 3 days or until they fall off. The doc will give you instructions tho.

no. the needle to numb my arm was a pinch and then that was it. The next few days you might be a little sore but it beat having to take a pill everyday or a needle every 3 months, or something in your vagina

I love mine. My first period was AWFUL but since then it's been great

The bleeding is going to be different for everyone. Thats something that comes with every birth control option that you cannot forsee. My periods completely stopped on nexplanon. Then when i closed in on 2 yrs of having it i started getting a period every couple months.....then i took it out to get pregnant. Id choose it again over any other birth control I've had (pill, nuva ring, mirena, depo)

Exactly I know we're all different but there's still a possibility. Once the bleeding stopped i'd spot every now and again but eventually that stopped to and I didn't have one. It wasn't so much as bad it's just annoying!! @johnnysmommy

@johnnysmommy I got the nexplanon removed after a year because the bleeding never stopped for me . My arm was sore for about 3 weeks after getting it in my arm .

I would bleed for months at a time . when it did stop & I did have sex I would bleed & it was very embarrassing.
