Mini-rant: I really love how people always want to tell you what to do with your child or turns into…

Mini-rant: I really love how people always want to tell you what to do with your child or turns into Dr. Spock just because they have kids. I get people are trying to help when they do that but unless help or advice or opinions are asked for, they aren't necessary and if they are asked for, the person giving it needs to know how to properly and respectfully give their thoughts. My aunt (I lover her dearly but she can definitely be annoying) had the nerve to tell me because I was telling somebody that I plan on going back to work before my baby's 1 which would ultimately mean that since my parents work and my child's father also works my child would be in daycare for the few hours that I'm working so that we don't interrupt anybody's lives, that I can't send the baby to daycare when it can't talk because you don't know what they could be doing to the baby; albeit that may be true, I'm not going to take my child somewhere to some mom and pop in the house daycare with a bunch of animals and where I don't trust the staff and get to see how things are being run and get some background information on the workers and the establishment in general, and if there's even the slightest incident that doesn't sit right with me I will without a doubt pull my child from that daycare immediately. I get that she has 4 kids (although how three of four ended up makes her raising choices and skills very debatable to me.) and she's very caring and she's always been a great aunt, however I don't think that she really gets that I don't have much of a choice but to go back to work before my baby's 1 and would like to finish school eventually so that I don't have to be stuck in bs jobs forever (although a job is a job and I'm not knocking anybody getting a paycheck from an honest living regardless of if it's $9 or less an hour or $15+ an hour it's just a blessing to be able to find and hold onto something these days). She also constantly has something to say when I talk about balancing my old life and current life in terms of going out (no crazy drugs or anything crazy, just concert nights currently or a post baby hookah night with my friends and little stuff like that) just because she's not like that, and she always has something to say about me and shopping or my (pre baby) room and what I need to and have to and should do with stuff. She's also constantly down my throat (along with my mother who's probably going to get told off if she keeps it up) about going after my child's father for child support because we aren't married and they know how he can be and have seen some of the things he's done, and that's just not a battle I want to fight unless absolutely necessary. I know they're just trying to look out for me and the baby and that I should just take the stuff they're saying with a grain of salt, but good lord is it hella annoying lol
