I can't STAND seeing kids on a damn leash 😡 everyone has their personal preferences but I'm definitely not putting a damn leash on my child!!!
What's your opinion? 😐

I hate seeing it too. My little girl will not go on one at all!
deleted-user·
@daij, I've seen alot do it with special needs children, who tend to wonder off. but that's also from years of experience.
Kenitra·
Is that a picture that you took? My question is, why are they in the floor?? Maybe they are special needs.

I think its ridiculous..if you taught your child some manners and home trainin you wouodnt need a leash..a nice ass whoopin would clear things right up

I had to put my son on one when he was younger but his looked like a book bag and then had it but he's also extremely hyper and is autistic so we had to do something but never had to use it with my other kids

@81516mommy2be, I never knew they were made for special needs children... I'm not being rude at all @kenitra no I didn't I looked it up on Google because I was watching a video on YouTube. I can't understand a kid that's special needs but personally I wouldn't do it.

@rhon_rhon, right 😂😂😂 I see a lot of kids running around stores, outside, hair salons etc... And the mom just sits their and let that shit happen! And those kids are so rude and disrespectful. @1sttimemommy2016 mine won't either, home training will keep her in check
deleted-user·
@daij, oh yes, but most of the time in my experience, it was when we'd go to big places like zoo's and suck where a lot of people would be, but they'd be more of bag packs.

yes ma'am surely will. @daij

@lost041, see I didn't know they were mainly for kids with needs, my whole point is for kids who don't have needs... Just some home training will help them behave in public and you won't need something like this.

@81516mommy2be, I seen those too, and the make them with stuffed animals

I don't really agree with them either but I wouldn't say I'd never use one ya know? maybe in like a huge crowded place or something like that but even then idk .

but I'd use the ones that are like book bags or stuffed animal looking ones.

I'm putting my daughter on a harness (the animal backpack ones) that way when she's two or so and decides she wants to walk, she can but she won't get far from me and no one can kidnap her. My niece is two and despite her mom watching her and spamming her, she'll run from you and laugh when you hit her. I don't care who judges me or gives me looks or thinks it's in humans, it's a way to give my daughter independence without her being stolen.
Kenitra·
My answer to the question is no. I am not putting a leash on my child. If they can't act right then they can't go any damn where 😹😹
Megan·
My daughter has Down syndrome and she's a wanderer. She gets away from the most experienced and she's fast! So ft her safety, we have one. She can get out of just about any belts like on car seats, strollers, ect. So they don't protect her. It's the ONLY thing that stops her. I always said never too, then my firecracker came along! Never say never, because you don't always know the circumstances! @daij
deleted-user·
@jasholbert, true, and well when they get to the age they can run from you, they'll run and hide who knows where, and say your at a place with a lot of people, they could easily disappear. .
Jasmine 🌻·
В ожидании первенца
@81516mommy2be, she'll probably be in a stroller or cart most of the time but we will definitely have the harness option as well for when she wants to walk.
deleted-user·
@jasholbert, what bugs me most and pisses me off is when I go places and parents are walking way ahead of their children or way behind them and not watching their child.

@81516mommy2be, that's SO annoying! I was driving today and a kid he was about 2 or 3 he ran RIGHT in front of my car and the mom had her headphones in and when I honked she cursed me out like I was crazy! And she was laughing when I drove away and she was still letting her kid run all ahead of her
deleted-user·
@daij, one of these days their parent(s) will regret doing that when their child gets hurt.
marissa·
My daughter has one that's a frog stuffed animal, we use it for big crowd events because she will run she's not quite two yet so doesn't understand. It keeps her safe

If I had a special needs kid, I would for their safety. Otherwise, not a chance. I have been around an autistic child in a crowded place and the parent used a leash so he couldn't run off and get lost. It was definitely a good thing to have for him.

Nope. I refuse to use one, and I won't. Seems like a newer thing people are doing. None of my family ever used one and I will do the same. If I'm in a large crowd, my kid will be in my arms, stroller or holding my hand.

@klove2016, exactly 👏
of course if someone have special needs kid, and it's only way to keep child safe I'm saying yes, but other than that big No!

I couldn't do it either but dome kids it's for their own good. my son used to run out into parking lots without me. No matter how many times I told him he could get hit by a car and most of the time I could just hold his hand but when my hands were full I would get so f-ing scared he was going to get hit by a car!!
