I am abit worried how I'm going to get to the hospital, originally my dad was gunna take me if it was a weekend and my brother in law would take me if it was through the week but my brother in law is really bad with psychotic episodes and anxiety so don't really want to ask him/put on to him and you can't get an ambulance unless you can see the head or are bleeding really heavy, also a taxi won't take me and I have no-one else at all, wish I had planned for a home birth as that is what it's going to look like I'm going to have to do, i am really stressing out has anyone else been in this same position, I'm getting all the pains and have done for 3 days now so I feel like it's just a matter of time.

Thank you everyone, I know everything will work out in the end it's just worrying when you have no-1 to drive you, not everyone can drive, I think I will just ring a taxi and put a towel down, if I ring for an ambulance and they do take me they will take me to the local hospital and I'm going to a different hospital because they have a birthing centre xx

I know exactly how you feel I only have 1 family member who drives I was told that if your only way is ambulance then it's ok Iv had to do it twice just ring 111 and they will sort it for you with it not being an emergency, my hospital is 10+ miles away from me xx

@nic881 Wow! That is crazy hun! I got in a taxi and they didn't know my waters had broken. Didn't even tell them I was in labour. I just called one to take me to the hospital. Also your hospital should have a partnership with a Taxi company. xx

Aw it's stressful @briony1994 think the sitting room is where my lo might me born lol, and you can't get an ambulance unless your bleeding quite heavy or unless you at the very end of labour needing to push, your not considered priority @jod1303 so really just have to have a lift xx

Taxi service says that most taxi drivers will not take me incase waters break or incase you have the baby in their car I'm about an hour away from my hospital @tg123456789 and no @stacey804 I don't really know anyone round here that I could just ask, I'm sure it will all fall into place but it's got me stressing out abit my oh on the other hand is as laid back as you can get probably because he's not bothering to come with me lol xx
