Okay so I'm really weird about buying used items.. I'd NEVER buy a mattress or a carseat used, you never know about bed bugs or wrecks. I was REALLY on the fence about a bed set, because again bed bugs, ew. I've been searching for two months for cute bedding with flowers and haven't found anything I liked, and if I did it's 200 dollars or more($415 for the custom set I really liked), I found this 11 pc set used for 35 dollars, the lady lives on base (they do bug sprays once a month), and is a little bit older raising her two children. I'm pretty positive with the way she carry herself and the way her children look and the kind of car she drives that I have no reason to worry but I want to know a way to deep clean this bedding and put my mind at ease. Any ideas?
Soak them in the tub with the hottest water and add 2 cups of vinegar. Let it soak for an hour then wash them on hot
Try Amazon.. they are pricey as shit but we got a super cute one for 112 on Amazon & that's everything.. if it's in your budget it's worth a look.. I'm weird about buying used stuff too..
Yeah for sure girl!! And you can never be too paranoid when it comes to baby health and cleanness;-)
it's a smoke free, pet free home, on an air base, I'm not worried about it, but I feel like since it's used I should just have it sanitized and cleaned really well, ya know? Maybe I'm a little paranoid ftm or something but if I'm only spending 35 for the set I can still afford to make sure it's extra clean @brittanycheri @klove2016 @mrs.steele I'll try the dry cleaners
ya yu will see them on it if there were any. I would cry clean and not worry too much. sounds like the lady takes care of hers!
Very hot water will kill them. Also you can get cleaners that will also kill the bedbugs IF there are any. Also you can see them. Just google what they'd look like.
if she is a clean person I would take it. and like @klove2016 take it to the dry cleaners!
Mine were technically used but barely, I washed mine on a gentle cycle in the washing machine with Tide (forget exactly what it's called) but it's the kind that's clear and has no smell etc, it came out just fine and put it in the dryer on low and checked on it and I still do that when I occasionally wash it... It doesn't need special treatment, it's just like a comforter, but to each their own.
