pinterest has some really good lists. I have learned that a crib isn't a necessity if you're gonna breastfeed. mine sleeps with me every night.

crib or bassinet, diapers, clothes, car seat/travel set, bottles, formula or pump if you plan to breastfeed, swing or bouncy seat. check pinterest and type in minimalist guide to baby gear and it gives you a good list of essentials without a bunch of extras you might not need.

Are you planning on having a baby shower? Try resale shops also for some of the bigger things and clothes :)

If I were you, I'd get a pack 'n play with a changing station attached to it instead of a separate crib and changing table. Their cheaper in the long run, portable, and you can use them well into the toddler years.
