Alright Mommas, I need some advice. My 9 month old used to get to bed around 9:15-9:30, after rocking her to sleep. I'm trying to get away from having to rock her. But now (also) she is going to bed much, much later. Sometimes as late as 11pm. I started to lay her down in her crib, awake, and she'd play, then fall asleep. Now, she won't even do that, she screams. I don't really want to do CIO, but what other methods have worked for you and your little ones for sleep training? She typically has 3 short naps daily and gets between 9-11 hours of sleep every night. Please, no bashing. What works for you and your family, may not work for another. Thanks in advance.

I tried the CIO method , worked a couple times last time she busted her mouth because she fell . so now I just rock her even tho she's 1 I know its bad but that's the bonding time I get with her

I have tried reading, but she won't sit still. It's like she knows what I'm trying to do, so she wants to play, lol @raegottie I know, I let her cry for a little bit last night and I sat in the rocker, til her cry changed to her panicky one, picked her up, the second I did that, she stopped. @alainalovesmommy
