My sons father really pisses me off. My son came home this morning and said he was hungry so I told him to go eat breakfast. We'll he told me his father said it's irresponsible for me to allow him to make his own breakfast. ARE YOU KIDDING?! The kid is 9. I think he's more than capable of pouring a bowl of cereal, or putting some pop tarts in the microwave.

To each his own. Some people like preparing meals for a kid that age some people think it's fine to serve themselves. Agree to disagree?

@mamamoonbaby, Usually on the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, I prepare. This morning I made waffles and sausage, but he didn't come home until 10am. What also bothers me is if it's 10am why didn't your dad feed you breakfast? On school days my kids are part of the breakfast program at school so they eat there

@cubanese, My son does basically cereal, oatmeal, pop tarts, or boiled eggs and knows how to do it for his sister too. I just feel like if you come from your dads at 10 in the morning or 7 at night you should already be fed.
