Has anyone taken Fluconazole pill for yeast infection? Everything I read says we should only use vaginal creams or suppositories while pregnant. My doctor prescribed the pill Fluconazole. I think I'm just nervous about taking it. I trust my doctor but I don't like taking anything in general and definitely now that I'm pregnant.

Is it a pill?

if you're unsure get a cream to try and if it doesn't work use that as a last resort.

I have taken the pill form for s yeast infection in my 2 previous pregnancies because I'm allergic to the cream and I was fine, no issues:) I actually had to take it 3 times on pregnancy because I kept drinking soda and that's what was causing my yeast infections lol

@haniyyah90, I had to take the pill when pregnant with my youngest. I just trusted my dr and took it. I'm actually quite thankful I did, as it cleared up fairly quick. :) No issues for me or baby, either. :)

@haniyyah90, you're welcome. I'm always very paranoid about medications I take, but the dr assured me that pill was harmless and definitely needed. It really did help a ton. Hope it clears up super quick for you. :)
