Humane society @newbabymuva at least that's where I dog from and the one near me offer training courses if your willing to keep him not sure how attached how y'all are too each ofher

Well look to see if you have one in your area that maybe your best bet they also let people adopt the older dogs for free that's how they make sure they have all get home. They don't put down dogs at the humane society unless something is terible my wrong with them

I'm having same issues with my dog he makes me so mad but I can't get rid of him because I look at it as I have my child for 5 years and put him up for adoptions I couldn't do it

How long have you had him? And is he going potty everywhere? Is that what you mean? Like incontinence or misbehaving? And what have you tried? I have a lot of experience with older dogs

Geez imagine if we got rid of our parents when they got old and helpless? Is there no way you can seek help and keep your dog? Is he not family to you?

@mrs_velez, that's exactly how I feel. You make a lifelong commitment when you get a living, breathing animal. Don't just throw him away when he's old :/

6 years isn't old. if its that bad, take him to a rescue. avoid pounds unless they are strictly no-kill. but bringing a new baby home is no excuse for getting rid of an animal that you made a life long commitment to the day you got him.
