Soft serve has pasteurized milk in it, so you're fine with the actual ice cream itself. The chance of getting listeria is from the machine the ice cream comes out of, which could happen (although it's not all too common) if it's improperly cleaned or not cleaned well enough. As long as it's from a place you trust and know is clean, don't worry about it.

I eat it all the time. as long as the machines are clean that it comes from, you should be ok. you're always at risk for Listeria....even when not pregnant so your chances of getting it are pretty slim.

@maybaby2016, @mrsreneau @answeredprayer16 that's the thing, I'm not sure how clean their machines were. My husband daniel went out during the game and bought it for me. I don't know if they are clean or not. I'm freaking out so bad right now.

You should calm down. The chances of getting listeria are pretty slim. You probably eat a lot of things during the day that you could get listeria from and don't even know it.

I wouldn't dwell on it personally. that's like when people tell you not to eat subway unless its a hot sub. but im sure you can always call a nurse and ask what signs you need to look for. I think you'll be fine tho, you stressing isn't good so deep breath 😊
