Did anyone here choose to wait until the placenta stopped pumping blood to your baby before you cut…

@kaileenicole16, yes in my opinion, when baby is born the placenta is still pumping blood. You have a choice if you want it cut or not.

how does that benefit the baby?

@kaileenicole16, more blood... The placenta is what helped baby live in the womb... You don't want to cut that right off when it's still pumping doing its job. That's how I look at it.

We did it and my dr didn't have a problem at all.

No, mine didn't pump for that long afterwards. He just waited until it stopped and the. Had Rob cut it.
