Kinda a personal question but any other Mommys still have a sensitive spot in their vagina after giving birth and being stitched up from a tear? I had a second degree tear, mainly because my delivering Doctor decided to cut me without my consent but my son is 4 months old now and when hubby and I try to have sex I have a really sensitive spot that almost makes me want to cry. My normal ob told me I had healed nicely and I shouldn't have any issues.

I had a third degree tear and I've had pain ever since....and that was 17 years ago.

I mean, it doesnt always hurt but its still screwed up...and the doctor I had who stitched me up had a rep for messing women up...and soon after she relocated to California 😕

Awh @sarahemccormick I'm so sorry to hear that! It's really put a damper on our intimate time because my husband can tell it hurts me, it's not something I can hide :( just makes me worry what will happen after I deliver this second baby, hoping it doesn't get worse!

Its probably good that the doctor cut you instead of letting you tear. A tear is jagged which is way more stiches and heals differently vs a straight cut is easier to heal, and less stitches. Unfortunately my doc didnt cut me, so I had a tear, and I have the same discomfort, its not super bad, its really just one spot
