Yikes. So my MIL pretty much bought all of our baby gear. The crib, our portable washer for diapers, the changing table, stroller system you get the idea. She's just now saying she wants to be there for Leila's birth but my grandmother and mom are already coming. And we've hired a doula so there's no more room. Truthfully only my husband will be in the room but anyway I feel bad. She seems pretty disappointed and I feel like maybe she should be there?

Nope! You should only have who YOU feel comfortable with in the room. If you just want your SO, then that's all you should have there mama

@killxj0y, ty that's how I feel. She's very good at guilt tripping. She's older and keeps saying things like "if I'm still alive" etc etc. sigh

@mamamoonbaby, that's so dramatic haha, you're pushing a baby out of your vagina 🙄 nobody needs unwanted company. Not that your MIL is unwanted but that's not an event that people should be guilting you into attending
