At what date did moms with twins find out about them? I have a friend who is 9 weeks not on here,…

could you feel them moving that early? she said she could feel them move at 7 weeks. @twins1987 it's still not confirmed if she is having two though

I would bet money that what she's feeling (since she's so early on) is gas.

I was about 12 weeks, it was my 1st ultrasound that I found out but I joked that I was gonna have twins and turns out I was right!! but I couldn't tell before the ultrasound and when I was about 19 weeks I then started to feel them both. but that was just me.

that's what I said but she took offense to it @jennatess I'm 11 week but I can feel small flutters sometimes that I know are already my baby. Only because my uterus is tipped back a little and the baby is at the top of it. so I get small little jolts of flutters or cramps from stretching similar to what I felt with my first at 14 weeks.

@twinmamma2015, thanks! I keep joking about it as well with all the migraines I've been getting and how sick I am. my hcg levels also tripled early on instead of doubling so even then my doctors told me there might be two. But who knows!(: thanks for clarifying when you felt them! She keeps telling me she feels them kicking and I know she can't lol.

lol yeah everyone is different but what she may be feeling is just her body changing and getting ready to carry a baby. lol some people just want extra attention so that may be her goal. then again she may be right lol!! only one way to find out lol

my friend didn't find out she was having twins until her 20 week ultrasound. she had no clue.

@martinajjones, I found out at 5 weeks by an ultrasound and my hcg level was 15,337 also when they did the initial pregnancy blood work at the very first appointment. I had felt butterfly like movement in my stomach early as 8 weeks and more like a nudging feeling but no full blown movements. This pregnancy also felt really different from my other 3 pregnancies and I to also joked about it because I was looking bigger. I am a fraternal twin myself and their dad was a twin also. First initial appointment the baby was hiding behind an ovary and couldn't see the heartbeat. I started bleeding and I was terrified that I miscarried so I went back to the doctor the next day and they gave me another ultrasound but said that things haven't changed drastically since I was there just the day before. Once they started the ultrasound the woman tech said oh yeah things have drastically changed. She told me to watch the screen very closely and as we did she changed from 1 fetus to 2 fetuses and I almost rolled off the table. She them proceeded to tell me that they were identical as well. So we left happy and surprised lol.

she's 9 weeks today @twins1987 and yeah actually according to her she looks 3-4 months along. I saw a picture of her belly but it looked like she might just be bloated cause her belly looks like mine does lol. This is her second pregnancy btw not her first. So it's possible she could be progressing more quickly especially because her son is only 6 months right now lol
