I would call your doctor. The baby can poop in utero and ingest it. It's extremely dangerous.

by week 39 the baby could have already pooped in there on her or his own it's not extremely dangerous. the reason they stop you from going over 42 weeks is after that point the placenta starts not being able to support the baby.

@jessica815, thank you! it is not dangerous it's actually healthier than getting pitocin. there is no REAL link or proof that castor oil can make baby poop in utero as its proven that it cant penetrate the placenta. it's a more holistic approach to induction than getting induced frfr. my doctor actually said I could try it. the story that it's dangerous is just a myth

But since it didn't work for me I'm not gonna try it again. baby boy didn't show any signs of distress. I don't think he cared lol stubborn like his daddy. @jessica815
