I have a serious rant. Okay, I'm due July 18th and my dads side of the family made plans to go to the beach August 7th- 14th. THATS 3 WEEKS AFTER MY DUE DATE! I told my family I wasn't leaving my daughter after 3 weeks while I was 8 hours way from home because it's my luck that's when something would go wrong. It always does. Now I'm getting bitched at because I know what my doctor said about leaving state with a 3 week old. They act like I'm to stupid to talk to my doctor about those kind of things. My decision is my decision. I don't understand why it's such a big deal. They know when I was due if they wanted me to go they should have made it longer after my due date not 3 weeks. The doctors give you 6 week maternity leave for a reason. It's going to be hard for me to leave my daughter I'm sure of it because I'm already extremely protective of her.
