I know everyone is different I got my gallbladder removed 2yrs ago and man let me tell u I still get some pain and I have a lot of side effects!!

@babyjordan, my mil is the only person that has told me she still gets pains but the doctors I talked to said it's most likely because she had it done in the 70's when surgery and meds weren't as advanced as they are now. but so far I haven't had any problems not even gas, or having to go to the bathroom since the doctor said that's the most side effect. but that sucks, have you gotten a second opinion just to make sure the surgery was done right? I went to one of the top Hospital(top 100 in america) since its main thing is for cancer patients so all the doctors have to be really good. and I was going to go to another one, and it turns out that many people found out that they either had their gallbladder removed for no reason, parts were left in there or it just wasn't done the right way at all.

At first I didn't had pain but now after 2years I have bad gas a lil pain and I can't eat pork that mess up my stomach!!! The doc did a great job ! Did u get a stitches or they use a special glue to close u up!!!my doctor couldn't removed my gallbladder because I was pregnant by the time nd he say after I had the baby if was safe to do it..so like I say everyone is different and that's good that everything is good now!!i had a friend that had her gallbladder removed nd she has the same effects like me so just be careful

@babyjordan, they don't do the surgery during pregnancy, but if you're in your second trimester and get an infection or an attack then they will but it also depends on the baby being healthy, so that's why I just had it done. but I know the gas is a common thing when getting it removed. my mom burps and farts a lot and she says its from having it removed, but there's always side effects, hopeful I don't get any bad ones. and they used stitches and glue.
