just word it like you're concerned he's guna have some jealousy and might be a little angry or misbehave which is true. can happen and talk about what you can do to keep his brother involved a bit and feel better about it. ya know what I mean? that's what I said to my husband about his nephew who was being hurtful to me and mean to my belly. I told him I'm concerned and I honestly don't want to show the baby there. I wana do it at my house my terf so I feel more compfortable

I just don't want him to get mad at me this is stressful it's going to be a little harder for me then that I think anyways he knows that his son isn't biologically his he chose to take care of him because he didn't want him to be fatherless and that doesn't bother me but I don't want him to think I want his son gone is complicated and soooo stressful

i would get his son some gifts also "big boy" stuff. maybe a new bedding he wanted and a baby for himself to care for etc. I did that with my kids and niece I raised. worked and even my son had his baby and baby station

I suggested that he told me no and said he will have to man up witch made me worry even more @mygiftof2016

oh no.... well he can only man up if you teach him the right way to express himself and give him confidence and support. that's tough for a little kid!!

No he's here 5 days one week and 2 the next back and fourth to work with my husbands work week @mygiftof2016

oh well ya it's not like he's just there every other weekend then. he's needs r important too and toughening him up night just back fire with tantrum regression etc. I'd just go ahead with a few things little things special so he knows he's included too. like a coloring book and new crayons so when baby is napping y'all can make new pictures together etc. trust me it'll make your life a lot easier working with not against!

I hope it works he might not know what to do he also has autism and he has a hard time processing things

Just make sure your husband still pays a lot of attention to him when baby is born, if he feels like he's being neglected he's more likely to misbehave, my partner and I were worried about that with his son too because when I first found out I was pregnant his son got angry but now after talking to him about how cool it will be to be a big brother he's excited (he's 5)

No not weird at all! I worry about that too and my kids are 7 and 9! definitely normal to have that fear.

I know what you mean though, it's hard when you have step children and you don't want them to feel like you're different with them because they aren't your biological kids. You seem like a very caring person though, I'd be surprised if your husband thought that you'd be like that.
