We're about to have a kid and he's as irresponsible with money as a sixteen year old who just got his first job. I've been pretty lenient and I haven't said much about it because it is his money and he works for it, but I'm seriously about to snap. You're about to have a child, it's time to start learning how to save. Just because money is in your account doesn't mean you have to spend it. If it gets to where we're having to go without food or gas or something, my ass is out. I won't have my daughter living like that. Wish I would've realised how financially irresponsible he was beforehand, but then I was working and didn't really notice because I was able to cover costs.
