Not painful at all honestly everything that happens to you is up to the person that's doing it my anesthesiologist was awesome

I was so against it and terrified to get one because I was scared of the needle, but I didn't even see it. It did hurt at all and it was so relieving

It wasn't painful for me and it doesn't take long to get it done

the actual insert of the needle just feels like getting an iV. if you can handle the IV or a blood draw then you can handle am epidural. I got it twice

It really didn't hurt but I was also having a contraction so my mind was more focus on that pain and not moving then the needle lol

I was afraid at first, but because I was induced the contractions were coming super close together that I got annoyed and asked for it. It worked wonders. I even made my boyfriend take a pic so that I could see what it looked like.

It feels exactly the same as when they put the iv into you. Which MUST happen. It was the best decision I made. Just a little pinch and it was over!(:

@paris824, that's so cool that you had him take a picture! I was wondering myself what it looked like, since they can re-dose you without giving you another shot. So interesting!

@jennatess, it is. All I had to do waspish the little button they gave me and I felt more medicine going through.

The worst part is getting the tape removed oh my GOODNESS! 😩 my nerve laughed so hard at me, because I made her take it off slowly and use a warm rag to try and moisten it. Lol.
