I know it's going to be difficult with a new puppy which I finally got but the poor guy needs a lot of TLC the lady that gave him to me pretty much lied about everything. He has roundworms BAD!! but he will be well taken care of and spoiled already (just 2 days) and having my little princess in 17 weeks-ish, But I'm a happy momma and really wanted my baby to grow up with a companion like I did 💘💕💙🎀
It's just like no one ever accepts my decisions when I am 27yrs old. My family is so judge mental. It's been putting a lot of stress on me and I've been emotional but I'm trying really hard for them to not steal my happiness. Something I just found in the last year after I went into recovery from a very bad drug addiction. I don't think they will ever support me or get off my back. Nor do they understand the struggles and hard work I had to put in to have this second chance at life. They all think they know what's best or know from "past experience" I can never just live my own life. Oh well I'm happy and they will not take that away from me...PERIOD👊🏼

As long as you stay clean and are working hard for you and that baby, more power to ya! I had a roommate with a brand new puppy and a newborn...they didn't really do a great job at training the puppy but since you got your puppy now before the baby gets here, that is great! You can work with it and have it trained before the baby because both together is a handful but it is awesome to have a pet that can grow up with the baby! Congrats :)

Thanks chica. @kimberkatherine I'm hoping it's a smooth transition. He's done good the last couple days. He's a baby so yeah I'm tired but he will be older in 4 months and potty trained and whatnot. I trained my last dog in 6 months. He seems just as smart. I just keep telling myself it's making me have more patience and getting ready for those first few weeks with baby and long late nights!! Things will all work out in the end 😊🤗😁

@lindsey89, Absolutely! Plus it'll make the days go by quicker with training him so your baby will be here that much faster. I'm sure you'll have him good and trained by the time the baby gets here. I'm sorry your family isn't more supportive, you sound like you're doing great! Plus a dog can be trained to protect you and the baby.

I know I'm so impatient I want her here NOW lol. Everyone says enjoy the pregnancy only last so long but it's my first so I'm super excited. And I agree with making time go by quicker. He's a handful but if I have gone through the struggles and challenges I have already I know it's going to be just fine. As for my family @kimberkatherine they just are them. Gotta love them from a far. I mean being in recovery is hard enough and having to deal with their sh*t is frustrating. Like this is my time to get things in order and the negativity isn't necessary. They should be proud not bash me for stupid stuff

@lindsey89, I feel ya girl. I can't wait for my son to be here either. This is my first as well. Yeah, being negative isn't the way to go. I mean I am all for being blunt and tough love but that isn't the same as negativity towards someone who has gotten clean and is continuing to try to better themselves! I'd just say make sure you surround yourself with nothing but love and support and people who will only make you continue to get better. Sometimes family isn't necessarily blood @lindsey89
