It's really fast, if your baby is not moving much in an ultrasound sometimes they'll have you eat chocolate to get them moving

@jesjeslovesyou I asked my dr and they said it's not instantly but it's the sounds of your stomach processing the food they react to rather than the taste. The food itself gets to them like 45 minutes later

the taste reach them at the moment when you're eating, the nutrients takes 30min-1h
