The progesterone shots how are they do they hurt, I'm scared, when should I start getting them, one…

i got my first yesterday (should have started 4weeks ago but damn insurance took forever ) its not as bad as they maken it sound. im a big baby to needles and i did freak when i saw the needle lol but it didnt hurt! and i feel fine. my butt cheek isn't sore or antthing, yay! lol

What is that for?

See my doctor said she would order them for me and I'll get them next apt I'll be 20 weeks @mv92 @ynm1990 to help prevent preterm labor I guess it's supposed to relax your cervix

@carsonsmomma you should ask if as soon as she gets them if she can just start giving them to you. its real quick. they just take you to the back and give you the shot and your done. the sooner the better . im 19weeks and really wish my insurance wouldn't had took so long . every Thursday ill b getting the shot from now on til im 36weeks. i belive she said. shots arrived at my house. and i took them to the doc

Oh my doctor ordered them for me and is going to give them to me to give myself at home but she said she had to explain everything to me and stuff so idk

I started mine one day shy of 16 weeks and they don't hurt but the injection site gets really itchy.
