This is the kind that I use vaginally. It's just a regular gel capsule but it doesn't specify that it is to be taken orally or vaginally so I just use it how I see fit lol.

I hadn't dilated or effaced at all until after I started to use it! So I think it probably helped.

Dude I searched up and down Walmart yesterday looking for this and could not for the life of me find it! I guess all the bottles looking a like threw me off lol is that where you got yours? I gotta go back and look harder I guess lol

I'm curious too. I wanted to start taking them myself. I was unsure about how to insert them also. I've seen some say to poke a hole in them so the oil comes out then insert. I've seen people also say it kind of makes a nasty oily mess and to wear a pad.

I've seen that as well, about wearing a pad. But that's a good idea about poking a hole in the gel cap before inserting, I didn't even think of that @jacesterlingsmommy

I just don't want to insert too many. I have yet to find a reasonable amount to insert. Some said one some said they did like 3. I'm a paranoid person and didn't know if you could overdue it so I'm too afraid to take them yet. lol

Plus I read it doesn't help dilate just efface you. Which I'm neither but I'll probably start when I see my doctor next week and she checks me again. If I've made no progress again I'll probably start them. I know having sex is supposed to do the same thing, to thin the cervix.

I could have had her check yesterday but I knew if I was closed I would freak, and if I was dilated to a 4 I would freak. Lol so I decided not to find out. But I'm gonna try inserting maybe 2 tonight and seeing if it helps at all, for some people it even helps them actually start active labor. I doubt it'll do that for me but anything is worth a shot right now haha @jacesterlingsmommy
